Description: The blade is a rather beautiful one. The grip is of scale hide then wrapped in a fine linen of black. The butt of the hilt as well as its brushing and guard is made of a strong metal with a gold finish. The hilt guard is round but has a slight protrusion on each 4 points.
The blade itself has a light curve and a relatively thicker back. It has a groove showing it fine forging. Its scabbard is made from hard wood, with a black lacquer finish and a oyster shell decoration on its side of 3 hexagons joined in a triangle formation. One on each side at the lower end of the scabbard. In addition it has a length of rope attached to the scabbard like the picture indicates.
