Beautiful was the only word to descrive how lovely the East forest of Magnolia in any form of words. TO add to it, the day was nice and clear with the sun shinning bright, it gave a nice warm feel to the skin. There was also a breeze the blew only strongenough to brush against one's skin, ensuring that tit wouldn't get too warm. The birds sang in the tree tops and the leaves blew in the wind. A near by stream's water could be heard moving at a decent pace, fish jumping in and out, itwas truely Beautiful. THis was why Knuckles Shi thought it would be a a great place to come and hang out before retuning hom to Balsam. He knew after the conflict with his brother he needed a nice relaxing day. Something truly away from the city and there constant movement. The forest was a good place, nice and calm few people and those he would run into would probably be gentler spirits.
Knux was walking with his hand in his pockets down a trail carved into the East Forest of Mongoila, his attire fit himself wuite well. He wore a pair of white slacks, which flowed well with the block dress socks and white leather shoes. He had a blac t-shirt tucked into his pants with a white belt on his waist, A white sports jacket covered the Black t-shirt, the whole outfit was on par with his current mood. At peace on the outside, clouded on the inside. However He also was keen to jewelery thus he wore gold plated earring and a matching gold leckace around his neck. ON his wrist was a watch he powered with his lightning magic, something not most could do. Though unlike usualy he didn't have his blade with him today. It clashed with his current selcetion of clothes thus he didn't want to be seen with it. He was sure if the need to fight arouse his magic alone would be fine enough. AFter all he Was a Devil slayer, and the Guild Master of Sabertooth who really had more power then him?

Having spent the entire night and following morning cooped up inside of the grand library at the outskirts of town, Isabelle was feeling a tad spent. It had been a few days since she had made her way towards the town of Magnolia yet the search for the fabled blade was no where near completed. She had gone through most of the books regarding the various myths surrounding it as well as documentaries, but she had taken nothing concrete. Still, Remix had acquired tidbits of information on the sacred sword's last, even if unconfirmed, location which meant she would eventually wrap up her stay and head over to the port of Hargeon. After all, it was where the clues pointed towards next. Nevertheless, the Neko had decided to stay for a few more weeks to enjoy the scenery of Magnolia. After all, things done much too fast almost always seemed to have things gone wrong and or overlooked. With a sigh and an adjustment to her golden headpiece, Remix continued to wander through the city although, now, her pace had slowed.
As the neko continued to move onwards, she could not help but gaze at her surroundings with a soft smile. The sun was a blazing orangey red reminding her much of the her days at Clover, back when she had been Guild Master of Blue Pegasus worlds ago. A soft chuckle escaped her lips as the soft wind blew sweet scents of the naturey wilderness nearby further increasing the fond memories of her past adventures. Oh how she had loved and enjoyed her stay in Earthland Five, especially in the company of her comrade Louie. Yet, that had all been swiped away from her as the fates had deemed her time to pass onto a new world -the world her aunt had almost managed to conquer- to then find herself in the world of Fiore U. Glancing upwards towards the unending blue horizon, the wandering soldier outstretched a hand as if to grasp a hold of the scorching sun. "Helios," Remix muttered with a pensive look. "Desciende!" The soldier stood still and waited for something to happen with a furrowed brow. Nothing.... With a sigh, the young neko lowered her hand and shook her head with a saddened look. First, she had lost the ability for her water god slayer magic and, now, the affinity she held for her seals had been snatched away? What else had she lost? How much more would she have to endure before she could free herself of this life of unbreaking chains?
Isabelle continued to walk in an aimless path. Wherever her feet took her, she would go. That's how it was for Isabelle. Never being able to hold onto something for long for she was always ripped mercilessly from worlds to pursue an unending life of the time stream guardian. That was the curse of the "Demon" household. Sooner or later, they would have to be burdened with unimaginable responsibility at the cost of a life, their own. Remix, undoubtedly, had started growing tired of the life she held yet, until she found the blade she so desperately had tried to take for herself, she could never remain in a place for long. The blade was of importance and the sole reason she tolerated the loss of a grand portion of her free will. With it, she would be able to place a stop to the curse and live her life as Remix for there was no longer a vision. Closing her eyes briefly, Isabelle, once again, inhaled scent of the breeze passing by, enjoying the naturey feel to it. She didn't open them for a few moments, relying on her senses as best she could. Before long, the young soldier opened her eyes only to discover that she had ventured into the wilderness that had grown in near proximity to the outskirts town she had stayed within. Remix frowned. Would she go in? She held no magic, but would that stop her from taking an adventure head on? Remix's frown slowly morphed to that of a grin. Not in the least. With renewed determination, the neko proceeded to jog deeper and further into the woods.
It did not take long for the young Neko to find herself immersed in thick brush and forest. The wilderness and grown quite thick and heavy of trees as well as had accumulated an abundance of animals. To see such rich earth and plants made the soldier blink as the wind gently caressed her rosy cheeks. Never before had she seen such a place as this. Sure she had spent time within Yuna's winding and lush gardens, but this held a different feel and aspect to it all. Remix slowly slowed down to a walk as her ears flickered against the head piece. If there was this much vegetation, then there had to be water. The neko licked her lips and listened. It took several seconds for her ears to adjust to the sound of rushing water. North. It was where she would go. With the destination in mind, Isabelle continued to press forward without catching sight of what was occuring in the heavens above nor upon the world before her. Little did she know the fates had something stored for her that very day that would change her life completely.

There was much conflict in his heart at this time, there was his brother being alive and out there somewhere who needed to pay for his sins but at the right time. How could Knux simply go forth and track him down and cast out the good within himself? Would acting out of rage not bring him down the same path, the course of revenge was never a easy one he knew that. However something had to be done? Was there even a jail to contain his brother after all all his sibilings and himself contained rare magics Knux knew for sure shackles couldn't hold him so what good one one of his siblings? Whatever he was going to do he had time but he also had to think of his guild. With his best friend and form guild master of Sabertooth , Ardere now in the council he was left in charge of the guild thus his choices would efect them. He knew if he went back to the guild with this information they would rally under him, but this wasn't there fight. Though he doubted any of them would see it that way aswell. It was true they were family and they took care of their own, a bnd like no other but some fights were meant to be left between one and the issue.
Taking a break from his walk he reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette, it was a menthol of course he loved the taste of them. Placing it between his peach toned lips he placed a single finger on the tip sending a small spark out the tip of his finger which ignoted the paper at the end of the cigarette. Inhaling as he did so the tabacoo began to burn and smoke lifted off the tip and entered his lungs. Exhaling after a brief pause he moved his hand through his hair , something he did often. Though he knew this wasn't good for him it was something he enjoyed to do. His mind raced back to his little brother and the times they had growing up, he was never as good as Knux at anything probably due to his age. However somewhere along the line after he left with his old master to train there was something that snapped in Nazaki that turned him into what he was today.
Knux had to shake this from his mind, and lucky for him something was about to do just that. A ruffle in the bushes off the path caught his attention. Holding his breath for a moment and using his sense he pinpointed a location. Moving his head slowly he looked over his right shoulder towards the water he heard earlier, the sound was from that direction. Perhaps an beast of some kind or animal passing by, whatever it was his encounter with his brother had him on edge. Bending at the knees Knux pushed off the ground propeling his body into the air. Leaning back as he did so allowed him easy acces to a near tree branch, upon landing on it he jumped up and up until he reached near top. His emerald green hues focused on the location of the sound. His ears picked up the sound of leaves moving, judging from it the maker of the noise was about a hundred or so pounds. After all He did train and live in the woods for some time, tracking and hunting was something he learned to due which was how he could deteremine such a thing. After all becoming an S rank wizard was no easy task. His hues scanned the area until the caught something even more stunning then the current vew he had of the forest. A woman, and boy was she stunning. Long black hair, an elegant body, and cat ears? What was she? SOme divine creture living in these woods? He knew there was differenet races but he never studied into the as they were rare these days. Taking another puff of his smoke he thought he would watch her for a bit longer, though she was probably the closest thing to profection he saw. With his taste for the finer things in life he knew he had to have her, he wouldn't call it love at first sight but she had made an impression on the Sabertooth mage already.
Coating his fingers with lightning he pinched the end of his cigarette off outting out the cherry. He leaped down towards another tree carefully trying to not damage his shoes of clothing. He had eventually made his way to her, and there he was above her looking down on a goddess of a creature. Unable to contain himself a smile laid upon his lips and before he knew it he voice had actted with out his brain even noticing it.
"My my, your are just stunning M' lady. Such a marvaling beauty, the maker surely out done himself with you. If she were to turn to him she'd see him bring his left arm behind his back while his right one folded to his waist as he bowed to her then stood up straight placing his hands in his pocket. Given his height of Six feet, he eyes were angled down upon her.

Her foot touching the lush grass that decorated the beautiful landscape, Remix inhaled deeply as she shivered in slight pleasure due to the intoxicating wooden like smell of the trees that the air within had joyously captured. ”The Eastern Forest…” The young woman murmured with slight wonder and amusement. ”Everlasting and never changing…” Her gaze scanned her surroundings. ”Although, pity that the circumstances itself are not the same...” She then began to walk, her movements moving fluidly as her mind was lost wandering much like the wind carried about itself within the forest of the East.
The ‘Neko’ licked her lips as she slowly walked through the forest. It was wonderful to see a place that looked so much like the ones from where she had originated from. It was what she would call a memoire of the life she had left in pursuit of another. The wandering soldier clenched her fists in a swift moment of anger. If the night would have never happened, then this… this... Remix paused as she swallowed hard. If the night of the waning moon had not happened, then she would not be where she was today. As the guardian of the time stream and woman of war and adventure.
It was a lifetime of debate -the path she had been forced to take. To walk the path she was meant to walk with a satisfied smile or to carve out her own life despite never being able to live her life to the fullest? The two sides of a coin which she had learned to accept as life. On one side, she could travel the verses and meet the various people the worlds had to offer or she could waste away looking for a fabled dagger so that, in the end, she could settle down with a family of her own? That would only be if the blade itself existed. Yet, all she could do was hold onto the sliver of hope.
Remix sighed as her feet dragged the plush grass, uprooting the semi wet moss that at grown upon the man made trails. Was she doomed? Or was she blessed? The curse of life yet the gift of what it gave were conflicts within the chaotic heart of the young soldier. Her gaze looked down towards the guild logo that decorated the palm of her hand. It was the logo of Blue Pegasus yet the mark was not of this world’s tattoo. Her lips curled to that of a small smile. Surely there was more to it than what she thought. Perhaps, not everything held a tingle of lost cause for her being. It was, after all, a new world.
The Neko’s pace quickened ever so slightly. Her mood had lightened up somewhat and the bounce to her step was evident of it. She would look forward to her mission upon the world she had been summoned to. Yet, the choice of completing it would be up to her. Remix sighed. Truly wishful thinking, but it helped to think of it regardless. She was a missionary in a sense and the task she had been given would need to be completed. After all, the very fabric that tied the worlds together would be at stake. A cold shiver ran up her spine as her memory of the recollection of Animus Sin resurfaced. There was no way she would allow it to happen again.
It was not long before the Neko had ventured deep into the forest. Yet her mind was still in a world of its own. Not a moment had passed when a voice drew her back in. "My my, your are just stunning M' lady." Remix's eyes opened wide as she whirled around to see where the voice originated from, a man. A slight rosy blush began to form against her pale cheeks. How had she missed this presence? "Such a marveling beauty, the maker surely outdone himself with you." The Neko's eyes wandered to and fro as she took the man in. He was a handsome man with a style all his own. He appeared young, perhaps a tad older than her.
She gazed into the man’s eyes questioningly, his green eyes seeming to draw her into its shrouded mystery to which her eyebrow raised. Who was this fellow? The red haired man bowed to her in greeting before returning to his original pose -his hands in his pocket type of stance. Her gaze never wavered from his as she awaited to see what it was he wanted. Not that it mattered much seeing as the forests was a public place. Her cat like ears flickered as he tail swished in expectancy. He was tall and gave a strong willed appearance of power, but she knew nothing of him concrete. Only what he gave off.
Nevertheless, it was her turn to greet him back even if he himself never introduced himself to the young feline. Mimicking his bow she grinned slightly and amusedly. "Ah, hello." She said with a smile as her hazel eyes met his yet again. "A pleasure to meet you, Mister..?” She gave a pause to fill in his name if he so chose. The Neko then continued as she moved a strand of hair behind her ear. ”My name is Remix.” She shifted her foot. ”What brings you here to the forest, stranger? Perhaps a stroll?” She stood quiet as she awaited his response. The man presented no danger to her or so she hoped.

It had seemed as if the male had failed to introduce himself when she had paused for a moment, as she did he smiled and stated his name. "Knuckles Shi, though my guild members call me Knux." His emerald hues were stuck on they woman's own set of optics. He did however notice the blush that had came to her face, perhaps she never was told how beautiful she truly was or perhaps his up front approach was too much. Hearing her name he added a slight reply. "A pleasure Remix." She question what he was doing out here in the eastern forest, perhaps telling the whole truth of how he was just trying to calm his mind after attempting to kill his younger brother for his sins against the family they had were too much for someone he just met, he thought it best to just tell her some of the reason for now. "Ah, well you see I'm here on business, but thought it best to stay here a few days and relax. Perhaps see all the City has to offer someone from Balsam. However as to why I'm in this area I'm just trying to clear my mind before my action reflect back on Sabertooth. " He paused for a moment to let all that he said sink in.
Knux removed his hands from his pockets and ran his right hand through his hair. Walking closer towards the woman he began to speak again. "However I came to this location because I hear your footsteps. I just wanted to see what was making the sounds, though when I saw you I just had to make your acquaintance. Which bring us to just what are you doing the these woods alone? Meeting your boyfriend?" A question just to see if she was available, if so perhaps he would show her a night on the town. Though if she was from here then she could show him around, the choices varied depending what the answer she was going to give him.
Though the encounter had taken his mind off of his brother for a brief moment he was still caught by a choice he had to make. Either wage war with a Dark guild or handle this alone. If he killed his brother he would be removed from the Legal guilds, and as a guild master it would become an issue. The council would probably dispatch someone to come and find Knux meeting with more fighting and possibly more deaths. Something he didn't want but would deal with if needed. After all his only goals were to become rich and strongest mage he could be. Becoming an Ace and Guild master by the age of 21 made him pretty well known, not to mention being a Noble status civilian. He had a lot of things going right for him, at this rate he could possibly become a wizard Saint in the next few years.
Though there was the choice of leaving his guild at the moment and just taking care of this Issue alone, becoming a guild-less mage making work a bit harder to come by, or perhaps even easier not being restricted. Though perhaps he could become a bounty hunter? Maybe even travel around the world a bit. It was too soon to tell what course he took though one thing was certain this woman would effect his future he felt that in his gut. Something about her just drew him to her. Could be the non human features, or perhaps something called fate to keep him from turning down a dark path and becoming a true Demon as his nick name referred to him as. Perhaps he should talk with his Ace and gathered her input on the matter with is brother.
Though the area they were in was soothing, and her presence did also help. He felt he could push these back further for the time being and focus on the now, he didn't want to miss anything she might say, this simply captivating woman was worth his full attention. His emerald green hues scanned her body once more before locking back in on her eyes.

At her slight pause, the red haired stranger spoke thus filling the brief moment of silence she'd given with his name. "Knuckles Shi," The stranger said. "Though my guild members call me Knux." Knuckles... The Neko murmured his name softly and slowly as if turning it inside and out. No doubt it was a peculiar name. In fact, it caused her to imagine it as the knuckles upon her fist and wondered if there was any correlation between the names. Or, perhaps, his name held a different meaning altogether? Remix turned his name again inside her head for never before had the young Neko heard a name such as that. And so, once done with her introduction, she made sure to make a mental note to ask him what the name meant. To this reason, it was because their meeting could be brief and their paths, potentially, could never cross again. Still, it was a small world after all although Remix could not rely on time to keep her rooted in one place for long.
Upon hearing her name, Knux made haste in adding his own set of words in turn. "A pleasure, Remix." He said in reply. The Neko smiled in response and proceeded to ask him about his stay the Eastern Forests of Magnolia. Perhaps he was a member of Fairy Tail? Or he was a traveler such as she and had stumbled across the beautiful forests of the city? Her questions were soon answered. "Ah, well you see I'm here on business, but thought it best to stay here a few days and relax." Remix grinned as her tail swished. Her thoughts exactly. "Perhaps see all the City has to offer someone from Balsam." It was reasonable. After all, it was the reason she herself had ventured into the forest after her night at the library. Although, one question remained... where was Balsam? Before she could ask, the man continued. "However, as to why I'm in this area I'm just trying to clear my mind before my action reflect back on Sabertooth." He paused for a moment to let all that he said sink in. Remix's ear flickered against her head piece. Sabertooth? A member from Sabertooth within the city owned by Fairy Tail. Perhaps he had come to the place for business? It did make sense for he had mentioned an 'action' of sorts. Remix pushed the thoughts aside. It was better not to ask. After all, it was none of her business nor concern. The mage then removed his hands from his pockets and ran his right hand through his crimson red hair. Walking even closer towards her, he began to speak again. "However I came to this location because I heard your footsteps." Upon hearing those words, Remix slapped herself mentally. Had she truly been making much noise or did Knux have a heightened sense of hearing? Regardless, Remix proposed to work on her noise level. After all, it was crucial for her line of work. Her ears perked up as he continued. "I just wanted to see what was making the sounds, though, when I saw you, I just had to make your acquaintance. "
Remix shifted her weight as her tail swished yet again. Surely this man was a flirt although his attempts were not insulting nor warranted her wanting to move away from him. In fact, she rather enjoyed the lightness of it. Which bring us to just what are you doing the these woods alone? There it was. The question she had been awaiting to be asked. How could she respond? Remix gave a mental sigh. She would simply brush the topic and nothing more. Although his next question caught her off gaurd. Meeting your boyfriend?" A boyfriend? These words, no doubt, amused the young neko tremendously. It was a simple question really, but one that held much meaning behind it. Her eyes twinkled in play. Should she bite? She decided against it. "A boyfriend?" She gave a teasing smile. "No, not at all." Her left hand then gestured towards her surroundings in a nonchalant manner although her gaze stayed with his. "Like you, I also came to enjoy the scenery and relax from the pressure life tends to unforgivingly warrant the living." Her hazeled eyes then wandered about before unconsciously making their way back to his. "After all, those who seek the thrill of danger and the pursuit of adventure need to slow down once in a while." She kept her words vague although she had an inkling he would ask her for more information. It was, after all, human nature to do so. Still, some help to search for the dagger would prove useful and pleasant. She would keep her thoughts at bay for now and ask him about his journey later. Precautions, per say.
She caught him scanning her fully until his emerald eyes met her honeyed ones once more. It appeared as if he had picked up a habit of gazing at her. Her word choice was of interest for he wasn't watching, but rather gazing. A study of sorts, she could say. His deep green eyes peered into hers almost as if he could read her inside out. It was then made clear he hung to every word she said making her feel important to an extent. It was strange, yet a welcoming feeling. Who was this man whose gaze could cause her to feel that way? He was no ordinary person. Of that she could tell. Remix bit her lip as she pondered a thought. "I'm not familiar with this place, but would you like to accompany me?" She finally asked. "Unless you have something else to do?" She was interested in knowing more about him and so she hoped he would accept. He spoke of Balsam which provides another opportunity to search for the dagger. Perhaps she could travel there instead of Hargeon. Remix could only wait and see. After all, it was vital she find the item before her time ran out.

She seemed to have simply listened to all his words, not once did she intrude on his words. It made him find a new level of respect for her. Though she seemed to sort of give him these light answers instead of some with more meaning he simply took what he could at this point. It seemed she didn't know that he was a guild master or even know of his noble class. This was a good thing, he was now able to leave the impression of Knux and not the Sabertooth Guild Master. His title was sometimes something that made others think of him as someone they needed to impress him, or even act like a different person. Some even called him sir which was upsetting him. He didn't like to be viewed at someone they needed to treat different thus is why he was happy she didn't know. For the time being he would keep it a secret.
Listening her words flow into his ears he nodded with her statement of danger and adventure. He was a bit of a daredevil himself, though his break was more of a moral one. He had thought of leaving his guild behind and going with the thought of hunting down his brother. There was more he needed to know before picking if he should kill him or not. Was he being influenced? Could he be saved? Though her reply to having a boyfriend was no. This was good to hear, it meant he could maybe take her out sometime if she wanted. She offered him to go around with him, of course he wanted to and was planning to agree to it right away.
"I fancy with danger as well though my since of danger is taking on beast or fighting other mages. The current conflict now is something I need to be sure about how I follow through with it. It can change a lot about the way I live my life currently However I'd gladly accept your offer to tag around with you. I do think it would be fun to do so."
He slide his hands back into his pockets and broke his gaze from her to the near by water. For some reason he wanted to strike it with lighting to watch it ripple across the water way, however he thought i was best not to. Mostly to not freak her out or cause issues with there meeting. Looking back over to her his long red hair swayed in the wind briefly.

She finished her words and awaited for his response patiently. What would he say? That was yet to be determined. "I fancy with danger as well," He said after a bit. "Though my sense of danger is taking on beasts or fighting other mages." It made sense of course. For, how was one to get better if they did not test their strength against others? Remix had partaken a like to sparring as well ever since her days within Magic. But she was more of taking on the unknown rather than showing a wide display of power. Knux continued. "The current conflict now is something I need to be sure about how I follow through with it." She nodded at his words for she understood. "It can change a lot about the way I live my life currently." She knew all too well those choices. In fact, she was in a journey which held much the same principle as he had. Only, his seemed to be on a different plane than hers.
She remained quite as she continued to listen to his words. "However I'd gladly accept your offer to tag around with you. I do think it would be fun to do so." With that, he had done a full circle on briefing her over what she had asked and much more. He needed to get something off of his chest and perhaps it was why he had confided something such as that to her. It only made sense that she do the same. Remix followed his gaze to that of the pond. She was usually afraid of large bodies of water, but a pond wasn't deep and so she neared it. The pond merely shimmered as large, plump catfish darted back and forth as she stood at its edge. Her eyes glistened as her heart filled with newfound energy due to the close proximity she held with her element. She knelt down beside it and pat the earth beside her for him to sit.
"Pardon if I speak out of turn, but... Remix took in a slight inhale of breath. "I may be able to provide a bit of help." She gazed into the still water as she turned to look at him with a soft, yet stern expression. "You see this water? Endless and never ending? These are representative of you decisions." She gazed back at the water in deep thought. "In the end, regardless of your choice in this conflict of yours, know that you did it because you had to. Not because you wanted to." Her eyes flickered towards him again to study his expression. Did he care? Or did he think her a nuisance? Regardless, she continued. "If it gets out of hand," Her fingers brushed the surface of the water causing ripples to commence. "Keep in mind that it'll settle down." The ripples faded until the waters eventually stilled. "Peace will come if you let it happen." With that, her words concluded.
Remix sighed softly. Her words were a reflection of her own inner conflict. She had come to terms with it for the most part, but she needed guidance. For now, she could only provide her bit of knowledge to the man she had just met, Knux, and hope that it would prove useful. After all, despite these large quantities of helpful tidbits she held, she could never seem to follow her advice. She was human after all. Well, for the most part. She gazed back at the water and gave it a saddened expression as her ears came into view behind the head piece. Remix bit her lip before touching it briefly. Oh how life held a mind if its own. One could wish for many things and, most likely, none of it could ever come true. Least, for her. The neko turned to Knux and titled her head in question. "Is there a particular place you would like to go?" She wondered if he would still agree to accompany. If not, then she would remain at the water's edge to reflect on her goal of finding the dagger. If he did, she would oblige to his decision, maybe. She simply waited for his response.

The Demon slayer followed the God slayer over to the body of water, as she touched it and caused ripples his hues watch as it got wider and wider until it faded away. Her words seemed a bit odd, though he knew he didn't need to see his true self in no water. His choice simply came down to death or not. If he killed his brother in cold blood there was no way that he would allow himself to still lead Sabertooth. he couldn't bring a war to them he knew now knew that much for sure. After all her talk about peace and such and gripped her hand closest to him with both of his own cupping it. "Remix my dear, sometimes peace is something you only find once you die. " Ge then took one hand off of her own and placed it right on top the water. His hair was starting to stick up for a moment as a charge of white lightning emerged from his hand and was sent into the water rippling across it . Watching the lightning dance he smiled enjoying the view. "Other times you just have to let the chaos run it's course."
His emerald hues looked into her eyes, he rose to his feet and offered to help her up. The display was simply to show that there wasn't a way in hell he was going to let something else lead his decision with out making it where he needed to. It wasn't if it was the choice he needed to make it would be the choice he wanted to make. Though in her own way she had helped him focus clearer on this task and thus he owed her back. "So you're just going to come where ever I ask? " He waged the question to see what her answer was. If this was indeed her choice then he would take her back into town where the two could get something to eat and drink, or if not he could just simply be right here with her all day and find new and better ways to make her fall for him.
"Sorry if this is rude, but I never came across a woman with those adorable ears and a tail like this before. " It was true she was the first neko he had ever laid his eyes upon. It was truly a beautiful sight but he was so unsure what exactly caused Where did such a race come from? Where they truly gods sent to this world or perhaps it was something simpler. "It must be your magic or something like that huh? That would explain alot haha. " His eyes closed as he had a soft laugh. Opening them up again he hoped he didn't offend her in any way. Humans just often tried to make the most simple answer out of the things they didn't under stand, and this just happened to be one of those cases where his mind didn't understand what had accrued here. Understanding that he might actually have he kissed the hand he still hand a grip of.
"Forgive me if I had been to rude Remix. I'm just curious is all." He looked up at her with a devilish grin before standing back to his full height. Letting her hand go and placing both hands ontop his head he thought of the best places to go eat here while they were still in town. He really did think it was time to start heading home soon. Bering away from a guild this long wasn't a good thing they probably turned the place up side down. As his hand left her's however his emerald hues caught glimpse of her Blue Pegasus symbol. Tilting his head the word Oh fled his lips. So she was a mage, and a light mage at that. What was a mage from her guild doing all the way over here though? Was she too the guild master on business? No, she couldn't could she?

The red haired man gripped both her hands close to him which, in turn, caught her by surprise. She hadn’t expected it, but she said and did nothing. Instead, she waited for what he had to say next. "Remix my dear,” Due to his word choice, Remix could conclude that he appeared to be quite comfortable with her despite just having met each other nor even an hour prior. Or, perhaps, it was simply the way he talked. Regardless, she paid attention to his words. ”Sometimes peace is something you only find once you die." Remix blinked. The brief seconds she had spent blinking soon disappeared as she gave a slight frown. She knew all too well that was not the case. To some, even their own death provided no consolation from the life they had lived. To most, it were regrets what held them back -the decisions they did not take rationally. The neko had witnessed many fall to such a fate, but she could do nothing but stand by and watch. After all, it weren't her battles to fight. All she could do was spectate until she was summoned. The Neko suddenly felt a slight throbbing of pain after much thinking of this matter which she quickly washed away with a small shake of the head.
The man then proceeded to take one hand off of her own and placed it right on top the water. Soon, her eyes began to pick up slight movement on his hair as it began to stick up. Her eyes lowered downwards to his hand. It was then that she saw what exactly had caused his hair sticking up. White lightning shot from his hand which caused ripples to spread across the water. A small smile tugged upon her lips as she saw him gaze upon the ripple effect his magic had caused. It was a nice sight. Surreal almost. Still, her eyes then turned back towards the pond. "Other times you just have to let the chaos run it's course." Remix looked in mild amusement and curiosity at the water. " Even so, within the very depths of chaos, tranquility makes its home." She murmured softly. It only was a matter of the heart and soul that made the final choice. Knux rose. His green, emerald eyes looked deep into her eyes as he extended a hand towards her. She obliged and stood up, dusting herself a bit. She knew then that the conversation had made its end. After all, she was but a stranger entering another person's affair.
After Remix had stood up with the help of Knux, she invited him to accompany her to which he replied with, "So you're just going to come where ever I ask?" Huh? we the first word that came into her mind. What exactly did he have in mind and what did he think she had meant? The Neko raised an eyebrow in amusement as she gave a small huff in reply. Was he testing her? "That depends, Mr. Shi. Where exactly do you have in mind?" Remix looked back towards the water that shimmered under the sun's bright rays. It was peaceful and tranquil yet she was in turmoil. As to why, only but in time would she tell. Her eyes flickered back towards his in a teasing smile. "I can take care of myself if that's what you're asking?" She gently bit her lip in thought ass her tail swished. ”I’ll leave the decision of where to go to you as I’m fine with almost anything.” She made sure to add an emphasis in ‘almost’ in small jest. She could only hope that he would not take offense to her words.
Her ears and tail seemed to have caught his interest. "Sorry if this is rude, but I never came across a woman with those adorable ears and a tail like this before." Remix blinked continuously. Knux's statement had caught her completely off guard. So much so that she held a sort of dumbfounded and incredulous look upon hearing his words. His statement wasn't rude nor offending whatsoever, but to have someone call what she hid 'cute' was something she could not quite understand. "I... well, I..." Remix was at a loss for words. Yet, she was content as he continued for it saved her from her embarrassment of not being able to speak. "It must be your magic or something like that huh?" The 'Neko' winced. "That would explain a lot haha." The lightning mage's eyes closed as he gave a soft laugh. His laughter was nice to the ears, but it was something she did not need to hear at that particular moment. It was a delicate subject for her, but one she would have to elaborate on for the meantime. He opened his eyes again as her lips curved down to that of a frown. In the end, she could only address what she new of her condition.
She sighed. "This?" Remix asked him with a faraway look upon her eyes as she slowly and hesitantly removed her head piece. The light in her eyes had vanished almost completely. "No, not at all magic related." How could she explain what she did not understand? That she Isabelle Salem of a now nonexistent world was what some would call a freak of nature? That she had been born human, but to have such abnormalities? It had caused her to become an outcast wherever she went for she did not fit within both worlds -the humans and the nekos. "Forgive me if I had been to rude Remix. I'm just curious is all." He looked up at her with a devilish grin before standing back to his full height. He let her hand go as he placed both hands on top of his head. Remix tilted her head slightly. She had forgotten that they had still had physical contact until just now. Her mind wandered off until a small ‘oh’ brought her back. Her eyes followed his to her hand which bore the majestic mark of Blue Pegasus.
Her eyes lit up. "I believe new introductions are in order," Remix said in a playfully formal tone of voice. To top it off, she did an exaggerated bow in greeting. "Remix of Blue Pegasus..." She gave a slight pause as her eyes twinkled. "Although Wanderer at heart." She cocked her head a bit as she looked at him. "You are of Sabertooth, non?" She hoped to sway him from asking her too many questions of Blue Pegasus. Not only was she completely oblivious of this world's Blue Pegasus, but how would she explain of bearing a guild mark of a guild that was no longer hers? At least, within the border of this particular world. She again would have to note that she would have to meet with the Guild Master of this world's Blue Pegasus. No matter. For now, she would simply concentrate on the matters at hand. It was no use worrying about what was not urgent at the moment after all.

Shrugging the Demon Slayer looked at with a smile, "Perhaps it does. It is a different journey for each. For some Chaos is the home, it calms the voices or gives them that place where they fill at rest." His life was being very Chaotic at the moment he had taken out his brother leaving him for dead in the streets of Magnolia the day before coming here. Though now it was clear what he was going to do. He was was going to return home see his family well and take a life that led him to becoming the best he could be now matter what that meant. The cat like woman before him had called him Mr.Shi, why was she being so formal he wondered? It was odd to be called that."Please call me Knux, and I was only asking because I'm heading to Balsam. I think a woman wouldn't come here unless she could handle her self."
Hearing her ears and tail were not part of her magic made his interest in her even more interesting, what caused these effect to her body, and just how did it come into play? Perhaps question for another time when he would feel like she'd be up to it. Though who was to say it would be long for that to happen. It could be very well later in this day. that was the thing about life some of the encounter happened quick and were done, while others dragged out and within these encounters either you learned a lot to say if you liked or disliked someone or if you didn't. From what he could tell so far she had a of door that needed to be open, and only in due time would some of those open while others were already open and just awaiting the first step to be taken in them.
Hearing her reintroduce herself to him his head went to a tilt. Did she think he had forgotten her name already? Did she think he was that light headed or just not that interested into her that he'd forget? After she said what guild she was from however, it made sense. She was testing the waters of where he stood with his guild, perhaps to try and get him to join her own. Maybe she wanted to join his, or perhaps she was just curious where he stood the whole guild thing. After a pause from her she finished it off saying she was a wonderer at heart. Did this mean she was only there for the time or perhaps that she was just using it as a base of sorts while she traveled around. "I see, I've never met a member from your guild before. I must say if this is the average type of people the guild has, Sabertooth must step there came up haha." He chuckled slightly before she asked him about Sabertooth. Nodding his head the male did agree he was from the Sabertooth guild. "That's right I'm from the number one guild in the country,Sabertooth. I was the Ace there for a while but I gave that up. I'm now the Guild Master there." He emerald hues looked over her face to see her reaction. He wondered if she was going to treat and talk to him different now or what sort of reaction one might have now that she knew just who he was. Well part of who he was, after all she still didn't know of his noble blood in his veins.
"Though I'm just a spirited fighter looking for the next thrill. If I could find a Demon to fight I'd say I'd accomplished alot for my age. However since no such luck has happened when seeking one I devoted myself to this guild. Perhaps though my time there has come to a draw. maybe something better and smaller awaits me. There has been some issues with my family that seemed to have come up and I rather not drag my guild into this conflict. " He turned his body towards the north motioning his body for her to walk this way. "After you Remix, I think It's time we start heading out before we spend all night here. Then you'd have to cuddle with me for warmth." He winked at her as he teased

THe Demon & The Goddess
Her speech said, he shrugged it off in an amiable manner as he gave her a smile. "Perhaps it does. It is a different journey for each.” In an aspect, she had to agree, yet, there was always the opposite approach for a much better approach inwhatever it was he was looking for and searching. Still, she knew better than continue. ”For some Chaos is the home, it calms the voices or gives them that place where they fill at rest." Finally, all she could do was nod and, after a brief interaction between the two, he seemed to pick up on something she had said. "Please call me Knux, and I was only asking because I'm heading to Balsam. I think a woman wouldn't come here unless she could handle her self." She nodded thus making a small note of the request.
After having reintroduced herself, he gave her his full attention and promptly answered. "I see, I've never met a member from your guild before.” A brief second of alarm flooded the woman’s eyes before disappearing just as rapidly as it had come. He had never heard of Blue Pegasus? If that was so, then that would either mean that the guild simply did not exist within the world she now inhabited or that he was inexperienced with the surrounding guilds and therefore had not heard of it. She would have to do some digging. Yet, her thoughts would soon be disrupted by his proceeding comment. ”I must say if this is the average type of people the guild has, Sabertooth must step there came up haha." Knux said with a warm chuckle.
Remix glanced up at him in question and slight curiosity at his praise. ”I’m flattered, Mr. Shi -eh, Knux” She had remembered his request on informality and thus made change of her way of speaking. Although, such ways of speaking were foreign to her. Nevertheless, she would oblige. ”Although I would say the same about your guild.” A praise for a praise. It was how the world worked. Though, despite that very fact, she meant what she had said for the mage before her seemed physically strong with seemingly quick wit about himself. He was, no doubt, youthful in spirit yet someone who looked as if he could handle himself in battle. HIs warm demeanor which she could not help but admire that aspect. A true mage.
Having asked a moment too late if he was from Sabertooth, he replied with, "That's right I'm from the number one guild in the country, Sabertooth.“ Number one? ”That’s quite a feat.” She managed to add in with fascination. Truly, it was an accomplishment. After all, they lived in a world where guilds rose in large amounts around the world of FIore. He continued. ”I was the Ace there for a while but I gave that up.” Remix cocked her head to the side. To be an Ace, one had to display extraordinary levels of power and way of thinking. This man certainly did give that impression. But to give it up? She could not help but wonder why. After all, the role of the Ace was to be leader of a guild when the Guild Master was unable to do so.
Her questioning glances were soon answered shortly. ”I'm now the Guild Master there." Remix nodded slightly in understanding. The young Neko would have asked what had happened to the previous Master, but, being one in a past life herself, she knew better than to ask. Especially when a stranger was the one wondering about a guild they were not a part of. She shrugged it off. ”Well, I do hope you don’t mind me calling you by your name, Knux” She hoped she did not offend him nor did she want to question his prior request. It was simply to reinforce his request despite the newfound information. After all, the title ‘Guild Master’ was simply a label. ”After all, a title is but a title.” He would then continue his reintroduction.
Like her, it appeared that he, too, was a seeker of thrill and adventure. "Though I'm just a spirited fighter looking for the next thrill. If I could find a Demon to fight I'd say I'd accomplished a lot for my age.” A demon? Her eyes then lit in understanding as she put two and two together. A lightning mage with a determination to find a demon. Adding onto that the color of the lighting that he had shown her by the lake… He was no doubt a demon slayer. Yet, she would await for him to finish before asking him a question herself. However since no such luck has happened when seeking one I devoted myself to this guild.” Remix could relate all too well with that fact. After all, that had been her life years or perhaps even moments ago depending on the time shifts.
His next words dragged her back to the reality from her remembrance of the past. Perhaps though my time there has come to a draw. maybe something better and smaller awaits me.” A look of sorrow and pain flooded her eyes momentarily. Those had been her exact thoughts before she had forcefully given up her life to continue the legacy of those who guarded the time stream. It was the curse of the ‘Demon’ household. She could only hope for a better outcome than she had ever had. She sighed. If only she had the dagger that would end the curse. There has been some issues with my family that seemed to have come up and I rather not drag my guild into this conflict. " She looked into his emerald eyes once more in a search for answers.
After a few seconds, she would soon reply. ”That’s admirable of you.” Remix said at last. ”Not many would take the road you currently do.” It was an aspect many would simply seem to take for granted. He cared about his guild and wished no harm to befall upon them. He was a man with a heart. ”I do wish you the best in whatever it is you are or will be doing. And, I pray your guild sees you in a good light.” She would pause briefly before continuing. ”After all, it really does seem as if you care for them along with their well being.” If he replied, he would do so before he turned towards the north. "After you Remix, I think It's time we start heading out before we spend all night here. Then you'd have to cuddle with me for warmth." He winked at her as he teased.
The young Neko grinned amusedly at the man’s comment. Wasn’t he the tease? ”Well, we wouldn’t want that, now would we?” She said with a teasing retort before making her way towards the direction in which he suggested they hed. She could not help but wonder if she would trust him. After all, it hadn’t been past a day since they had met. SHe would turn to him as she continued to walk, her tail swishing back and forth. ”You are a demon slayer, non?” Perhaps it was random, but it had been bugging her mind for a while. After all, she had just been awaiting the opportunity to ask and now was the time, She would await for his response.
