The gentle rays of sun kissed her pale face as she walked through Balsam to the train station. She had recently accepted a job in magnolia, now she just had to get there. The petite woman walked up to the booth where a rather unpleasant woman sat, stamping cards and wearing a smug expression. Tyriel smiled,Good Morning!" she announced with a cheerful grin towards the booth lady who continued to just give a sneer for a smile. " What do you want?" she asked blatantly causing Tyriel to cringe slightly at the hate and discontent displayed.
" One ticket to Magnolia please." she answered in her sing song voice, unclasping her purse and retrieving the needed 1000 J to pay for the train. The lady took the money and presented Tyriel a boarding pass for the train that was to leave Balsam in fifteen minutes. With a polite bow of the head Tyriel left the angry lady and went to take her seat on the train.
The mechanical and magical train was very accommodating, cushioned seats and large windows to look out at the horizon. This was certainly not her first train ride, but she appreciated the fine work that went into the creation of these contraptions. Tyriel smiled as she sat across from a small child and what she believed to be her father. The little girl was playing with her doll and the her father read from a book while holding onto his daughters hand.
Tyriel smiled softly at the child who waved at the woman. " Your really pretty!" the child exclaimed, causing Tyriel's to widen and smile at the child." Don't you think so too daddy??... like mommy was!" the little girl continued, causing the male to drop his reading material and settle the child's notions. His face rather red from embarrassment. " Do you have a picture of your mommy?"
Tyriel asked the small girl who perked up and instantly tugged at the large locket that laid around her neck. She got off her seat and walked to Tyriel and sat up next to her, showing her the locket with a family picture. Tyriel gasped, there was a resemblance between them and she glanced up at the man who had a really sad look on his face as he looked out the window.
Tyriel just pat the girl's head, I bet you will be just as beautiful as your mother." The girl smiled her toothy smile and crawled back over to her father who took up his book again, to shield his face from the tears that were streaming down his face. The little girl, laid her head in his lap and slept soundly for the rest of the trip to magnolia. They finally arrived, Magnolia taking shape on the horizon, just as the sun was midway through the sky. They made great time in her opinion. Only a few hours wasted on traveling. Hopefully she wouldn't have to stay the night in magnolia, she was unsure of how much Jewels she had.
Tyriel waved goodbye to the family she sat across from as she exited the platform, taking her pamphlet in hand. She had to first find the owner of this bunny farm. Seeing as how she was not knowledgeable of magnolia, she had to begin to ask around. There was alot of shrugs and rude standoff comments, but eventually she found her heading. She had to travel through the forest to reach the farm, there she would be able to defeat the vulcans and head home. Not that she didn't enjoy magnolia, it was just that she had an uneasy feeling in her stomach that made her feel unsafe.
