Weapons and You
All weapons can be upgraded; however, Holder and Normal Weapons do so differently. Holder Weapons, that is weapons that your magic rely on, go up in rank when you do. Normal weapons, weapons acquired through the Weapons Training trait, start off at D Rank and must be upgraded using your own personal funds. After finding a Blacksmith that is willing to do such a task, the cost of the upgrade depends on how deadly that weapon is going to become.
C Rank: To upgrade a weapon to this rank costs 20,000 Jewel.
B Rank: To upgrade a weapon to this rank costs 50,000 Jewel.
A Rank: To upgrade a weapon to this rank costs 75,000 Jewel.
S Rank: To upgrade a weapon to this rank costs 100,000 Jewel.
It is worthy to note that you cannot skip weapon levels, meaning you must upgrade them through each rank--unless you find a Blacksmith of legendary skill.
Repairing Weapons
Weapons become damaged over time and need to be repaired. The exception to this rule is Holder Weapons. They are destructible, but they repair on their own over time via magic, as these are often artifacts of magical power.
The cost of repairing a weapon depends on the rank of said weapon.
D Rank: These weapons are free to repair. They are often so cheaply made, that, many Blacksmiths feel bad that you're still using it.
C Rank: These weapons cost 2,000 Jewel to repair.
B Rank: These weapons cost 5,000 Jewel to repair.
A Rank: These weapons cost 7,000 Jewel to repair.
S Rank: These weapons cost 10,000 Jewel to repair.
