Usually the Fire Dragon Slayer, and Guildmaster of Fairy Tail, dressed himself in a leather coat with his black scarf. Today was different, however. He had forgone his coat and scarf and instead chose just his dirty leather boots, a pair of old pants, and a white button up shirt. The sleeves had been rolled to just below his elbow, though weren't fastened. His forearms were large enough that this wasn't necessary. His brown hair was pushed back, like it always was, crimson eyes surveying the guild hall below as he stood at the railing of the second floor. He leaned over, bare forearms resting upon the wood as he held the usual smirk upon his face. His eyes, generally showing a hint of mischievousness, now showed a laziness as he watched his members. Lazy as he may appear, he had a profound fondness and proud feeling for the members of this guild. He didn't view himself as their master, instead he viewed himself as nothing more than a member just as they were. In fact, he couldn't count the times he sat down there playing drinking games until the morning sun greeted the Fairies.
Today, though, his goal was different. Waiting for a flash of red hair within the sea, it wasn't long before his form of patience was awarded. Catching the crimson locks in his sight the fellow Fire Dragon Slayer leaped over the railing, landing heavily on the wooden floor of the guild hall with enough force to shake the two nearby tables, causing the occupants of them to eye him suspiciously.
He had been thinking, since their meeting the other day and her official stamping to join Fairy Tail. There was another Fire Dragon Slayer, meaning there was more than one Fire Dragon. Grant it, her fire was a bit different than his, but he couldn't eat hers. That led to the question if she could eat his. While it was certainly possible, his pride demanded to put it to the test. He took great strides to become as strong as he was, and if there was another that shared similar parentage he wouldn't suffer them being able to be bested in combat--at least not easily.
Of course there was something feral about needing to assert dominance.
And so he crossed the short way towards her, members moving out from in front of him. Reaching the fellow Slayer he spoke directly to her, ignoring the looks and sideways glances he received. His face was a mask of arrogance, snarky smirk and mischievous eyes. "I challenge you to a spar in the courtyard out back." Whether or not she accepted he didn't wait to find out, instead turning to head out the back door. The gauntlet had been thrown, and if she was anything like him, she wouldn't be able to ignore the challenge.
Standing in the courtyard the Fire Dragon Slayer watched as members began filing out to ring the combat area. Clearly this was something they wanted to see, after all it wasn't every day Fairy Tail got to see their Master fight. Let alone two slayers going head to head.

Her reaction to his sudden attack was slow, mostly due to the fact she expected him to at least finish the witty comment. Tsubaki gritted her teeth as she was unable to avoid the spell. Already she seen a wide gap between the two mages, in his speed and strength of the delivered spell. It traveled the distance between them at a fast pace, the only think Tsubaki was able to do was bring up her hands to shield her face. She was not able to burn the spell around her and unfortunately had to suffer from the heat, which was not bad, being as she was accustomed to flames even hotter than this. The force pushed her back some, the dirt sliding around the heels of her boots as the woman tried to dig her feet into the earth.
The Flames subsided and the woman stood their diligently, her clothes bearing scorch marks and even burnt off in some areas, revealing slightly more skin than she already accounted for. Tsubaki glared at Kazuki, who stood their ready, his hands ablaze and his feet spread. Her teeth were barred as she lowered her hands. In s split second flames erupted from her heels, propelling the woman forward, covering the ten meter distance quickly.
Tsubaki leapt forward, both her fists and feet now fueling flames as she went in to punch Kazuki with her right hand. The fire around her limb causing her to travel at a faster rate than normal, and the added force she exerted from her take off made her reach an even faster speed. Tsubaki figured Kazuki would raise his own to block the woman's assault, unable to resist bringing her in close to taunt the woman with that flashy smile of his. However that is where she would be prepared, by unleashing her own swift breath attack from her mouth. The flames slipping past her teeth in a sudden burst. Closing the very short distance as she aimed to scorch his face.

His weight shifted, arms folded across his chest. He had situated himself in the ring, only about ten meters from her. "Oh, I wouldn't dre--" Mid-word, and mid sentence, as his mouth was open he expelled a massive column of fire from his mouth, directing it at the Hellfire Dragon Slayer. The cone traveled the short distance, still not at it's max width though traveling past her--as it could--it would only get wider. Traveling the ten meter distance at thirty meters a second, he wasn't entirely certain it would hit, but he didn't care. His follow up was already planned.
The Guild members who had gathered around let out a gasp turned cheer as the fireworks seemed to be starting right off the bat. Anyone that knew Kazuki well enough knew that this was exactly how he fought, right to the chase without any warm ups. He was a Fire Slayer, after all, he was always warm.
His fists exploded into flames, probably why he rolled his sleeves up and he spread his feet, widening his base. Beneath his worn, comfortable pants his muscles grew taut, expecting the inevitable counter attack. If she was a Slayer, as she seemed to be, a single attack like that certainly wouldn't fell her. No, she'd probably come out rearing to have the fight go.

Spell Name: Fire Dragon's Roar Rank: B Magic Cost: 30 Type: Offensive Element: Fire Spell Effect: Kazuki releases a roar from his mouth made of pure fire, in the shape of a cone. The cone starts at .5m, and reaches it's maximum size of 10 meters at it's max distance of 30m. The cone travels (and spreads) at 30m/s. Those struck by this take 2nd degree burns. Duration: Instant Cooldown: 4 Posts

Spell Name: Hell Fire Dragon's Talons Rank: C Magic Cost: 20 Mp / 10 Mp per post Type: Offensive Element: Fire Spell Effect: The user coats their hands and feet in flames to boost their physical attacks. The spell allows all four limbs to travel at Spell Speed to boost her physical attacks. User is only capable of physically attacking twice per post however for D Rank Damage each. ( 6 HP ). The fire that surrounds her limbs has a lingering effect, so even attacks that miss have a chance of dealing 3 HP damage. Lingering fire fades off after a 2 meter distance, and can reach out to 1/2 meter in radius. Duration: Sustained up to 2 posts Cooldown: 3 Posts

As she rushed him, Kazuki stepped forward, ready to meet her head on. He did not expect, however, her to propel herself--similar to how he did--with flames from her feet. Still, the blow was intercepted his left fist wreathed in flame catching her own. His right hand then crossed over to secure her by the upper wrist and lower forearm. Thankfully, this action shielded some of his face, though the point blank breath of flames washed over him just as his breath attack had her.
Her flurry of attacks had came in an instant, her mid air burst leap, the punch, the breath, and the Guild Master sought to use her own agile momentum against her. With both hands securely wrapped around her outstretched arm he would pivot into her, placing his hip against her pelvis and her arm over his right shoulder before hurling her over in a throw. The throw wasn't meant for trajectory, but rather all the force he could muster directly into the ground in front of him. Crimson eyes focused on the woman, sending a small trail of fire that combusted at her, within the five meters she was from him. Whether or not the fire struck true, Kazuki was back on the defensive. He could have easily overpowered her, sure, but that wasn't the point of this. He wanted to show her just what a true Fire Dragon could do. That he was the stronger Dragon.
The air around him waved as the heat rose before a flame exploded to life, thin and just outlining his form. "You're pretty spry."

Her own arm felt a bit warm as she watched Kazuki grab her wrist and forearm, pulling it over in front of her face. She gritted her teeth as she knew what was coming next. He forced her over to land on the ground, immediately streaming a beam of fire at her head. However Tsubaki wasn't there for the attack to make contact. Instead she lifted her knees slightly and pressed her feet against the ground to use the same method of pressure to propel her legs over her body and bring her torso around as well. By quickly flattening her palms on the ground she was able to continue her momentum and successfully flip over and face Kazuki as he stood there still, His body glowing with flame.
She gritted her teeth and held out her palm to face Kazuki, but instead of a spell erupting from her hand, it appeared beneath his feet where he stood. A large circle, approximately 20 meters in diameter suddenly erupted a forceful amount of fire from the ground up, reaching 10 meters in height, a roaring cylinder of fire to engulf the Fire Dragon Slayer.

Spell Name: Hell Fire Dragon's Pit Rank: C Magic Cost: 20 MP Type: Offensive Element: Fire Spell Effect: After placing a large magic circle underneath the feet of the targeted opponent, the caster will direct the said circle to erupt with a explosive geyser like effect. The total area of the circle is 10 meters radius, the opponent being the center; and reaches up to 10 meters high, traveling that distance in 1 second. The eruption deals out 12 HP damage as fire explodes from the opponents feet and up. It is possible for a mage to avoid the attack by leaving the area of effect immediately. She was certainly bendable, he'd give her that. Agile too. However, Kazuki knew when it came to a fight of power, he had this in the bag--after all, fire was raw. Unbridled. It was power incarnate. Passion too, but at this point he was ready to show just how strong he could truly be. The fire around him was more for show, and as the woman flipped around behind him he sprung into action. A magic circle appeared beneath him and he moved quickly. Flames exploded from his feet, rocketing him twenty meters away, forward (away from her) and just to the outline of the circle. And in just enough time to feel the heat of the flames as a pillar rocketed upwards. That was...nifty. But enough was enough.
Leaping into the sky, Kazuki brought both hands above his head, flames that wreathed both fists becoming one massive one, splitting again as he grit his teeth. And then his hands were a flash. Eight orbs were flung at the woman, ten meters in size and girth, which detonated on impact with her, or the ground, for half their overall size. Whether or not these orbs hit, the Fire Dragon Slayer crashed back into the ground with. His teeth still grit, the air around him wavered again, in a much larger radius, before a crimson flame exploded to life around him. Pupils became slit as he felt the soul of a fire dragon surge through him. He wasn't sure if he sped up or time simply slowed, as he hadn't put this technique into practical use..but he liked it.

Spell Name: Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Crimson Lotus - Fire Dragon's Soul Rank: S Magic Cost: 50 / 25 Sustained Type: Supplementary Element: Fire Spell Effect: Kazuki surrounds himself in flames that do not harm others, however, it does increase the temperature in the immediate area considerably. This temperature increase is purely aesthetic and doesn't affect other spells. Channeling Ignis' fighting spirit, Kazuki's speed is increased to 20 m/s, with the ability to dash up to 22 m/s once per post. When moving it appears as if Kazuki isn't even touching the ground, though this isn't a flight spell and he cannot fly. Duration: Instant / Sustained Cooldown: 6 Posts

It was like he felt her attack coming as he rushed forward, getting to the outside of her spell's range just in the knick of time. Tch The woman grit her teeth as she felt her own spell erupt around her. It did not hurt her in the slightest, and the spell fell after reaching the maximum height.
Tsubaki watched as he leapt into the air, but he didn't attack face on. Instead he appeared to be using a ranged attack as orbs of fire shot in her direction. They moved fast, but were not very big. She was barely able to keep out of the explosive range, moving at 7 meters a second. But she knew she was unable to dodge them all. And as she seemed to just step in the trajectory of a incoming attack, fire erupted over her chest and torso, and stood in the path of the large orb. However, it didn't explode, it didn't even hurt as Tsubaki's flame over her body seemed to absorb the attack.
She sneered as the rest fell around her, a total of 8 before the attack stopped. He fell to the ground and she eyed him carefully. He certainly was not playing around here, and she would have to step it up. His attitude changed as he stood there in front of her, and Tsubaki just inhaled and exhaled slowly.
He was too far away so Tsubaki crouched a bit low as she stepped off with her right foot. Sprinting quickly to cover a 12 meter distance between them Bringing her hands up to her face she let out a large amount of fire from her mouth. The breath attack much like her first, except is swirled in a plethora of flame that churned like a tornado.
Spell Name: Hell Fire Dragon's Scale Rank: D Magic Cost: 5 MP / 10 MP Type: Defensive Element: Fire Spell Effect: Cloaking the desired portion of her body in flame she is able to absorb not only physical but magical attacks as well. With this spell Tsubaki is able to absorb the damage of 2 D Rank Spells or 1 C Rank Spell during the duration before breaking. Duration: Sustained for up to 2 posts Cooldown: 2 Posts

When the woman began rushing him, Kazuki noted that he was indeed faster than her. He could quickly close the gap, should he had wanted....but he decided it was best to allow her to do so. The flames spit from her mouth came quickly as she ran forward and the Fire Dragon Slayer merely covered his face, allowing the flames to wash over him. The heat singed the sleeves of his shirt nearly entirely off, now barely covering his biceps and splotches of the white cloth had now blackened. Still, he had prepared for this. Those damn flames stung, that was for sure. But it was time to end this, he felt. With the flames washed over him he covered the remaining distance, stopping as his flame wreathed hands (hidden by the roaring flames around him) seemed to gather the embers from her own cone of fire that remained.
Still, directly in front of her as the flames faded, he unleashed a flurry of thirty flame wreathed blows, with the final attack being a haymaker meant to knock her flat on her back. Even if this missed, the haymaker continued with the arc, Kazuki kneeling with it, and striking the ground hard. A large fist of raw flames exploded from the ground beneath her feet, jettisoning up at ten meters a second to knock her airborne. Whether or not these two attacks struck or no, Kazuki called out.
"What's wrong, am I too much Dragon for you to take on, Tsubaki? C'mon!"

The surface can produce a single fist of fire to explode from it (destroying the location where it was produced). The location cannot be more than 10 meters away. The fist, 5mx5m, flies forth at 10 m/s, and deals major first degree burns to the target. Duration: Instant Cooldown: 3
